Tokyo, Japan’s capital, juxtaposes the traditional with the modern. With high rise buildings, historic temples, shopping in Harajuku, the Imperial Palace amid public gardens, legendary open food markets, and views of Mt. Fuji in the background, this city is like a world unto itself. Over 37 million people live in the greater area of Tokyo, making it the world’s largest city and leaving it buzzing with energy.
